It is a long time goal of HRCH to have trained volunteers in each watershed, neighbors supporting neighbors. As HRCH develops a growing circle of volunteers to help with patient care in the community, we come closer to this goal.
The Importance of Our Caregiver Training
Heart of the Redwoods Community Hospice hosts, from time to time, a free Caregiver Training Workshop. These workshops are for anyone who wants to become a hospice volunteer, as well as for those who are already serving as caregivers for family members or friends. If you wish to be a Hospice volunteer, it is important that you can commit to attending a training session.

Our mission is to provide education, empowerment and support to patients, their families and the community throughout the dying and grieving process.
